Robert BYRNE Obituary

(Byrnesy from Reefton). On October 26, 2023, at Christchurch Hospital, passed away peacefully after a short illness. Aged 69 years. Loving partner of Kathy Sutton and cherished Robbie of Karen and David, Trevor, and Helen, and loved Grandfather of Lani/Chay, Blair and Alyssa. Loved son of the late Joe and Mavis Byrne (Waimaunga), and little brother to Margaret and Joe Shaw (dec), Colleen and Heckle Ramsden (dec), Raymond (dec), Lorraine and Paul Berry, Val and Barry Sweetman, Joyce and Brian Hassan, Dot Hawes and Neville (dec). A loved uncle and great-uncle to his many nephews and nieces. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Many thanks to all medical staff involved, you were all magnificent.
