Robert BLACKMORE Obituary

BLACKMORE, Robert Forbes (Bob) - On June 26, 2014, peacefully at Cashmere View Hospital, aged 89 years. Much loved husband of Rosemary, and the late Aileen, loving father of David, and Diana, stepfather of David, Simon, and Andrew Tebbutt, and loved by his many grandchildren, brother of Lorna, Fred, and Les, and loved by their families. Many thanks to the staff of Palmside Wing, Cashmere View Hospital for their wonderful care and support of Bob. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers Canterbury would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Bob will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside on Wednesday, July 2, at 2.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.

Bob and I go back to Atlantic Oil1948 and were good friends and workmates right through to our retirements.
He was a staunch friend and a man of very high principles which he demonstrated throughout a very successful career in a tough business.
