Robert BARLOW Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, on Friday, November 7, 2025, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Lena, loved father and father-in-law of Warren and Janine Barlow, Lynelle and Denis Woods, Hayley and Alistair Chapman, and Andrea Barlow and Rex Pebble. Special Grandie of Chris and Jess, Brooke, Ashlee and Georgie, Hannah and Jamie, Nick and Ali, Holly and Jacob, Louie, Geordie, and Oscar. Great-Grandie of Max, Molly, Archie, Jaxon, and Parker. Loved brother of Kay (deceased), Gerald (deceased), Lynne, and Ken. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Bob Barlow, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Braintree Wellness Centre would be appreciated and may be made at braintree.org.nz. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside on Wednesday, November 12, at 10.00am.

Bob was my teacher at Waimataitai School, around 1960. He taught me to play ukulele, starting a long musical career. Always friendly, an approachable teacher. His bro, Ken, also a mate. RIP Bob - fondly remembered.
