On November 7, 2018, Rob slipped away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Jan, father of Grant, Gabbie, and Lea. Deeply respected father-in-law of Michael Richardson, Cynthia Bargrove, and the late Jennifer Bargrove. Proud grandad of Mathew, Sam and Sarah Richardson; Selene, Luke and Robbie Bargrove; Finn and Liam Brown. Dearly loved brother-in-law of Dayele and Angela Hobson. Rob was a quiet, gentle, loving inspiration to all who knew him. Messages may be addressed to the Bargrove family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. At Rob's request, a private service has been held.

Bob was a good Landlord , always ready to fix things, and a great support to Jan and the family with the Music Shop. My thoughts are with Jan and Grant ,who I had the most to do with, and all the family at the loss of a gentle man.
