AVERY, Robert Stopford (Bob) - On September 17, 2013, peacefully, at Hospice Marlborough, Blenheim, surrounded by his family. Aged 85 years. Caring husband of the late Rona (nee Feary) for 55 years. Dearly loved and respected father and father-in-law of Dale and Gill, Paul and Susan, Lyn and Mia, Jill and Dale, and Rob and Phillippia. Grandad with the best stories to Carly, Mandy, and Ira-James, Harley, Machiah, and Riley; Rachael, Tama and Johnny; Tessa, Hemi, and Tem; Courtney, Kaleb, and Mitch. Our family would like to acknowledge the awesome care and kindness shown to us all by Wairau Hospital and Hospice staff, also to the staff at Waterlea Rest Home who took such great care of Dad over his last months.
