Our favourite when I worked at Hei Hei Pharmacy. I remembered her also from the fruit shop at Waimari shops. I apologized to her because as a cheeky kid I used to run in and call her Mrs Crab Apple and run away. She laughed. A really lovely lady. When I left that pharmacy I would always ask everyone how she was doing. A special person. From Jo

We always keep memories of Hornby school folk.Rita used to visit Jim at Middlepark when my Dad was there. Such a stoical person and friendly lady.We didn't realise she was from Southbrook. Great to catch up with her brother John.Sincere greetings to the family at this time of great loss and sadness. Helen W. ,ex Hornby, now Rangiora.
