On Monday, November 17, 2025, in Christchurch, four days short of his 93rd birthday. Much loved husband of Sally Tripp for 63 years, loved father and father-in-law of Tim and Alli, David and Helen, Andrew and Heather, loved Papa to Laura, Esther, Matt, Sam, Rebekah and Levi, Danielle, Alisha and Josh. A service to celebrate Dick's life will be held at Beckenham Methodist Church, 83 Malcolm Ave, Beckenham, on November 29, at 10.00am, followed by burial at St Cuthbert's Anglican Church, 8 Governors Bay Teddington Road, Governors Bay.
