Richard SALES Obituary

On April 9, 2025, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home in Akaroa, aged 78 years. Much loved partner of Lesley, much loved father and father-in-law of Emma and Rod, and Cathy. Loved grandfather of Milly, Duncan; Isaac, Asher, and Cyrus. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Diana Quinn (Australia), and Peter and Kathryn Sales. Flowers welcome. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Rich Sales, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The service to celebrate Rich's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Thursday, April 17, at 2.00pm.

I am very sad to hear Rich has passed away. He gave me my first job in NZ and was very supportive. My condolences to all his family. He will be sorely missed.

Condolences to the Sales family. I will never forget the phone call from Rich about joining Salesoft in 1996. My dream job had come true. Rich was my mentor for 17 years and someone I was very fortunate to learn from and collaborate with. The New Zealand CAD industry owes a huge debt of gratitude to the genius of Rich Sales. Rest In Peace Rich. Love Gary Page and the Page family.
