Richard "Rick" Horton Obituary

Richard “Rick” Paul Horton, age 55, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Horton; grandparents, Richard and Etta Horton and Paul and Dorothy Boone. Survivors include his mother, Jeraldine “Jerri” Horton; sister, Mary Anne Bratton; nieces, Shaylee Kinslow Cruz (Jon), Miranda Peterson (Joe); nephew, Boone Bratton; great nephews and nieces, Teddy, Campbell, Forrest and Millie Kate; companion Tracee Renfro. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Smith Funeral and Cremation Service with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM.
