Granddad I was saddened to hear of your passing, I treasure the short time that I got to spend with you last year and the photo I have of you and I holds a special place in my heart.
Your greatest gift to me was the book you wrote about your life, a life well lived. I learnt so much about you and the Perry family. I could finally see where bits of me come from as we are the same in many ways.
To all my uncles, aunties and cousins may you all celebrate granddads life on Wednesday and give Nana a hug from me.
Sending my love from Australia,
Deon

PERRY, Dick:
‘Please find the softest pillow to lay his head upon,
And place a kiss upon his cheek and tell him who it’s from.’
