Richard HOPKIRK Obituary

Passed peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by love, on May 19, 2025, at Yvette Williams Retirement Home. Dearly loved partner of Judith, much loved father of Kim, Tracy, Virginia and the late Vivian, and Nicola; loved GFR to all his grandchildren; loved brother of the late Robin; loved uncle and friend to many. Richard's wish was for a private family farewell. Messages to 18 Allandale Road, St Clair, Dunedin 9012.

Condolences Judith and Richards extended family. Richard was famous in the Southern Meat industry for his unwavering authority administering food safety, you listened and acted when Richard gave you advice, challenge him at your peril as he didn't believe in taking prisoners. Rest in peace Richard.
