Richard HAYWARD Obituary

On May 13, 2024, Richard passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a brief illness, aged 67 years. He was a loving husband and soulmate to Anne, treasured father and father-in-law to Catherine and David, Laura and Henare and adored grandad to Harriet. Richard was well loved by his extended family and respected within his communities. Messages to the Hayward family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A memorial service to celebrate Richard's life will be held at Rossendale Winery, 100 Old Tai Tapu Road on Monday, May 20, at 10.30am.

To the Hayward family.
Thinking of you all at this very sad time and especially on Monday 20th, as you say your final farewell to Richard. I saw Richard as a man of many skills, a guy with a big heart, full of energy and so loyal to his family. He will be sorely missed.

To dear Ann , Catherine and Laura,
Matt Tim and I will forever remember Richard's kindness to us when we were sad. His meals, delivered by Ann , at work, were so nourishing for us on many levels.
I am sorry not to be at Mondays service , as I am out of town .
