Richard HAMILTON Obituary

On August 16, 2024, peacefully at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Dawn, much loved father and father-in-law of Vicki and Graeme Fraser, and Tim and Lisa, and loved Grandad of Aaron and his wife Evelyn, Chris, and Will. A special thanks to the staff at Anthony Wilding for their care of Richard. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Richard Hamilton, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ would be appreciated, and may be made online at hollows.org.nz. The funeral service for Richard will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Wednesday, August 21, at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation.

Hey Tim, it's four decades now but I remember you - you lived at 277 and we lived across the road at 288. Your house is still there, ours is gone. Maybe we should catch up sometime.
