Richard James Brian (Dick):
Peacefully at home on August 20, 2017. Dearly loved husband of the late Betty, Very much loved father and father in law of Pam, Bruce and Di, Barb and Darren, and Craig and Grady. Very much loved grandfather of Ben, Tim and Beks, Sarah and Jono, James and Kate, Matt, Liam, and Alex, and Banjo, and loved great-grandad, (grandad Dick) to Isabella, Lucas, Toby and Sam and Adelyn. A celebration of Dick's life will be held at Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane (off Northbrook Rd) Rangiora, on Friday, August 25, at 1.30pm. Private thereafter. Condolences to all the family. Dick helped so many people (and dogs) over the years. I always enjoyed stopping in for a visit and inevitably came away with some pearl of "doggy wisdom" that made working on the next pup so much easier. He was always so generous with his time and knowledge and will be sorely missed.

Condolences to all the Carmichael Family.Leaving school at 15 Dick saw some thing in me and gave me employment at Coringa.He roughened some edges and taught me about being a farm worker.Thanks to that introduction to a city boy i then spent the rest of my working years in that industry.Thanks Dick and rest peacefully.
