Very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I last saw him at Richard Harrisons funeral in 2020. Hadn't seen him for years. When I said who I was his first comment was that he first walked in my parent's living room. My mother worked in the Post Office toll office and Richard's father Harley was a technician. My parents initially lived in Harewood Rd near the Butlers.
Later on Richard was used to keep my sister and I apart just after he left school and he was studying at uni.
I remember when he bought the motorbike and brought it around to show us. My mother wanted a ride so he took her down our long drive on the back of it.
Later he helped my dad dig the hole for our Para pool to go into.
I had a good chat with him at the funeral in 2020 and wanted to get his email to rekindle the contact. Sadly I never got it and to say I was shocked when I saw his death notice was an understatement. Richard was a great guy.

I was so very shocked and saddened to read of Richard's passing. I have such fond memories of spending time with the Butler family as a child.
Much love to all the family.
