Rhoda MOFFITT Obituary

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at Oamaru Hospital, on December 13, 2025, aged 62 years. Much loved partner of Mike McGrath, adored mother and mother-in-law of Thomas, Daniel and Laura, and James Williams, treasured grandmother of Elijah, Madelyn, and Jessie Williams, loved daughter of the late Jessie Moffitt, sister of Sue, Angela, and Paul Debenham, niece of Annete McAdam, aunt of Andrea Peach, and Kirsty, Dougal, and Charles McAdam, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to; The family of the late Rhoda Moffitt, c/- PO Box 39127, Christchurch. An opportunity to share a memory, Christchurch Crematorium Chapel, 65 Vickerys Road, Wigram, on Monday, December 22, at 2.00pm.

This is shocking. I'm so so sorry Boys. Your Mum- a superb woman. Growing up alongside us all.... it was bad enough she went south from the community. She was colourful, kind, involved, intuitive, loyal, interested, caring and courageous. I'm just so sad for you all. Huge condolences.

Unexpectedly at Oamaru Hospital. Late of Cheviot and Hakataramea. Most loved niece and goddaughter of Annette, and fun-loving cousin of Kirsty, Dougal, Charles and Georgina.
