Rex ANDERSON Obituary
Rex Allan Francis:
On July 11, 2022, Rex passed away peacefully into his Father's heavenly arms, aged 80 years. Dearly beloved husband of Leonie for 56 years. Beloved father of Mark, Louise, Emily, Kathy, and Amy, and much-loved father-in-law of Marie, Mark, Reece, Geordie and Derk. Adored Grandpa of Kate, Anna, Ella, Jesse, Jeremiah, Samuel, Ruby, Hope, Florence, Lance, Marguerite, and Leo. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Kay and John.
He will be greatly missed and will forever live in our hearts and in the hearts of those
who knew him.
The family wish to acknowledge the care extended to Rex by the staff at Anthony Wilding. A funeral service for Rex will be held in the All Souls Anglican Church, 30 Church Lane, Merivale, Christchurch, on Friday, July 15 at 9.30am. Our sincere condolences to you Leonie & family. We remember Rex fondly from the time spent in Hanmer. His big smile, love of golf, time to stop & chat & of course his for his family.

Although it is many years since we last saw Rex (and Leonie) we have such good memories of times together in Christchurch. We will always remember his generosity of enabling us to purchase your family Chariot at a much reduced price. What a help and encouragement that was for us at the time. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

Condolences to you all. Rex and I worked together at National Mutal many years ago. A great family man who I am sure will be sadly missed.
