Rayna WOOTTON Obituary

Died peacefully in her own home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, aged 84 years. Beloved daughter of the late Keith and Rayna Wootton, adored sister of Beverley, and the late David, loved aunty of Tracey and Deane, Nick and Julia, and great-aunty of Hayley, Reece, Vincent, and Darcy. Great thanks to all Rayna's carers for all the love and support shown to her over the years. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Rayna Wootton, C/- PO Box 39127, Christchurch 8545. The Funeral Service for Rayna will be held in our Avonpark Chapel, corner Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 2.30pm. Private cremation thereafter.

Beverley, you may recall Yvonne and Lorraine Reid, twins from the corner of Orkney St and Plynlimon Road. We are sad to hear of Ray´s death. Yvonne nursed about the same time as you two, and tutored at the hospital I think with Rayna. Our mother, Nola, was friendly with your mother, Rayna too - League of Mothers.
