Raymond John (Ray):
Of Ranfurly
On Wednesday, April 22, 2015, after a stoically fought illness, Ray passed away at Maniototo Hospital, Ranfurly; in his 69th year. Loved and cared for by his family, always and forever. Loved husband of Sonia, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Anna and Paul Nicolson, Jodi, and Warren, and dearly loved Poppa of Ann-maree, Caleb, and Flynn, and much loved son of the late Edna and John Kearney (Ranfurly).

Sincere thanks to Dr Verne Smith and Staff, Maniototo Hospital, Staff, Oncology Dept. Dunedin Hospital, for their love and care given to Ray, and special thanks to Staff, Chalet Rest Home for their support given to Sonia. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ranfurly, on Monday, April 27, at 1.00pm, followed by interment in the Ranfurly Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance (Maniototo Area) would be appreciated and may be left at the Church. Rosary to be held in the Church on Sunday, April 26, at 6.00pm. Dearly loved son of the late Edna and John Kearney. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Kevin, Ann and Gavin Wright, Leo and the late Roseanna, Marilyn and Colin Hall, Robyn and David Gibbs, John and Ivy Kearney, and Barry Kearney, and a loved and respected Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
