Raymond JACKSON Obituary

JACKSON, Raymond Herbert JP (retired) - On July 27, 2014, after a short illness, in New Plymouth, in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Mary. Much loved dad of Con and Maureen, Sue and Dave Mafi, Belinda and Kevin Herbert, and Wendy and Simon Edmonds. Loved and treasured Gramps of Kimberly, and Scott; Simon; Rebecca, Amanda, and Odette; Kate, Lauren, Ellen, and Grace. A loved Great-Gramps of Maya, Oliver and Rose; Samantha, Tyler, Jacob, Riley, Tayla and Eldon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fred Hollows Foundation would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages to the Jackson family, c/- Abraham's, PO Box 4016, New Plymouth 4340. The funeral service for Ray will be held at the Samoan Methodist Church, 505 Devon Street East, Fitzroy, New Plymouth, at 1.00pm on Thursday 31 July. A memorial service for his Christchurch friends and family will be held at the Wainoni Methodist Church, 878 Wainoni Road (opp Porritt Park), Christchurch, at 2.00pm on Saturday, August 9.

A memorial service for Ray's Christchurch friends and family will be held at the Wainoni Methodist Church, 878 Avonside Drive, (opp Porritt Park) at 2.00pm on Saturday, August 9. In lieu of flowers donations to the Fred Hollows Foundation may be made at the service.
