On June 15, 2024, in Papua New Guinea after a medical event. Dearly beloved husband of Liz. Cherished father of Jordan and Courtney. Loved son of Bev and the late Ray senior. Loved brother of Jill, John and Jackie. Loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. Messages may be addressed to The Family of Ray Humphries, c/- PO Box 26112, Christchurch 8148. A Celebration of Ray's life will be held at the Woolston Club, 43 Hargood Street, Woolston, on Tuesday, July 2, at 2.00pm.

Shy Ray, you are a trooper always keeping everyone on there toes as to where you would pop up next, never settled always on the move, Well its been wonderful knowing you for the past 20 something years, I just wish James and I seen you more often, see you on there other side, i bet you are flying on the most amazing rollercoaster ride on the way to the pearly white gates.
