ROCK FALLS - Carl Brandt, age 85, passed away on October 30, 2025, at his home with his family.
He was born March 19, 1940, in Rockford, IL, the son of Walter and Faye Brandt. He married Barbara Bergman on September 9, 1961. Carl worked for National Cash Register Corporation for 27 years along with 10 years at the Byron Nuclear Plant. Carl enjoyed tractor pulling, drag racing, and building engines.
Survivors include his wife Barbara; sons Andy (Sande) Brandt of Keller, TX, Walt (Cathy) Brandt of Sterling; and three granddaughters Jade, Paige, and Bailey of Austin, TX.
He was preceded in death by her parents; his brother Lloyd; and sisters, Nancy and Norma.
Cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held.
