Ralph Vaughan:
On December 26, 2021, peacefully at Terrace View Retirement Village, Ashburton. Aged 86 years. Much loved husband and best friend of Lorna. Father and father-in-law of Vaughan and Lyn, Stephen and Kathryn, and the late Brenda. Stepfather to Sandra and Jeff. Loved grandfather of Zach and Campbell, and step-grandfather to Corey, Daniel and Matthew. Brother and brother-in-law of Zena and the late Jimmy, Merlyn and Bruce, Sue and the late Owen. To Merlyn, Zena, Lorna and their families -
My condolences. I remember Ralph mainly during Christmas holidays, when I as a little boy saw Ralph as a man. But he let me fire his rifle.
And later, as a cousin, he was always smiling and friendly. Someone to look up to. And we remembered each other at the family reunion, with nothing much having changed.
