Raewyn MAHER Obituary
(nee Upjohn):
On December 16, 2017, at Silverdale Hospital, Merivale; aged 66 years. Raewyn was a loving mother of Simon, Nick and the late Christopher, adored Nana of Tayla and a much loved mother-in-law of Margaret. Treasured daughter of Lorna and the late Reg and a much loved sister of Warren and Bev and sister-in-law of Bev and the late Graeme. Raewyn touched the hearts of many and will be missed by many more. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages to the Maher family, c/o PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Funeral Service will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Wednesday, December 20, at 11.00am. Interment thereafter at Ruru Lawn Cemetery.

Raewyn was our teenage friend. We grew up with her at Avonhead School and St Christopher's coffee club.
She had a great sense of humor and a cheeky smile. Always friendly amd welcoming. She was dedicated to helping children learn.
So shocked to hear of her passing. We would have been at the funeral if we had known earlier.
