Rachel KANE Obituary

Our beloved wife, Mum and Nana passed peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Christmas Eve 2024, aged 75 years. After a rough few years, battling a number of health issues, the fight has now come to an end. Dearly loved wife of Charlie, loving Mum of Paul, and Heather, and mother-in-law of Catherine. Adored Nana of Caitlyn, Harrison, Matthew, Joshua, and Emma.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal;
love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Rae Kane, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A celebration of Rae's life will be held at Christchurch Crematorium Chapel, 65 Vickerys Road, Wigram, on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2.00pm.

I knew and loved Rae my whole life. She was always more interested in others than talking about herself. She loved her family fiercely. I have so many wonderful memories of times she watched out for me with I was young.
It is so hard to be so far away at this time. My love and prayers are with Charlie, PK and Heather.
