I first met Quinton when he offered me a compressor off the back of a tyre company truck, truck optional back in the mid 80s.
I worked in a panel shop close by. He was always the larrikin and fancied himself as a bit of motor dealer. I also remember that he played the piano, and Al Jarreau was one of his favourite artists.I haven't seen the man for thirty years, but a good friend of mine had kept me informed of his trials and tribulations.I live her in Brisbane so was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.Terry White
