My deepest sympathy to you Cherie and Grant, and thoughts to Riley, Rhys, and Jade.
I had the privilege of spending time with Quinn as a young and vivacious lad at Halswell Preschool.
Even then - he'd light up a room and was so loved my many. He will be greatly missed by all who's life he graced.
Aroha nui to the Miller family.

This young man had such a big future ahead of him. A talented individual / athlete and valued member of the Marist Hockey Club. I'm forever sorry I couldn't assist in in your time of greatest need.

Absolutely heart broken to hear this sad news. Quinn came to us at Prebbleton Touch as a lovely wee bloke in one of the Waihora teams organized by Cherie. We watched him grow as a player and a competent and Touch NZ qualified referee, and during that time he became like a member of our family during every Touch season. He made himself at home at our control desk every Thursday where we were lucky enough to enjoy his wit, his interest in all manner of things, and his liking for the referee´s lolly jar. So glad now to have spent some nice time with Quinn and Jade on finals night back in March. Deepest and most sincere condolences to Cherie, Grant, Rhys, Riley and Jade. Thanks so much for sharing Quinn with us.
