My sympathy goes to Dame Peggy's family. I've many great memories of times shared with Peggy and her family during her time in Christchurch. Some of our younger days were spent in the same Southern Hawkes Bay district of Maharahara West. and Peggy is remembered fondly by members of my family. Her contributions to New Zealand and in particular the aged, were immense. She has left behind a legacy to be valued.
