On December 31, 2023, peacefully at Essie Summers Retirement Village Christchurch in her 90th year surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife of Ken, much loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Lee and Harry, Kerri and Don, loved Gran and Na of Rupert and Harry; Jessica and Mitchell, and great-gran of her 5 great-grandchildren, loved sister and sister-in-law of Gwen and Ron and Joy (deceased) and Jim. A service to celebrate Phyl's life will be held in The John Rhind Chapel entry from London or Whitmore Streets Christchurch on Friday, January 5, at 1.00pm.
