GILLON, Phillip Masten (Phil) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Phil, at home with his family on January 17, 2013, aged 52 years. Darling husband of Gail, treasured and devoted father of Grace and Lewis, dearly loved son of Glenys and Kaye Gillon (Napier), loved brother of Wendy Mannering (Nelson), loved uncle of Marcus, Simon and Kristen Mannering. Dearly loved son-in-law of Eileen and the late Gerry Bowdern, loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend of Julie, Richard, Jamie, Harry and Angus Hawke, Lee, Andy, Paddy and Ash McNicholl. Sincere thanks to Dr Kris Yee, Dr Chris Atkinson and the team at Nurse Maude Palliative Care for their wonderful care and support. The Service to celebrate Phil's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday, January 22, at 10.00 am, Interment thereafter at the Avonhead Cemetery.

GILLON, Phillip Masten (Phil) — Phil was a much admired, hugely respected and cherished friend and colleague. A dedicated professional and talented engineer of great skill who contributed broadly to our staff, company, clients and projects.
