Philip SLEEMAN Obituary

On Monday, April 28, 2025, passed away suddenly at home in Rangiora. Beloved husband of Anna. Loved father of William, Charlie, and Grace. Much loved son of Vivienne and Derrick, and loved brother of Mark. He will leave a big hole in our lives, and he is truly missed. We are better for having had him in our lives. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Phil Sleeman, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John's would be appreciated and may be made online at stjohn.org.nz. The funeral for Phil will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Wednesday, May 7, at 2.30pm, followed by private cremation. There will be a gathering at the Kaiapoi Rugby Club for refreshments.

So very sad to hear the news of Phil's passing. A really great guy, much loved, much appreciated and a real "team"player in those early days of his rugby playing days. Our thoughts are with his family as we express our heart felt sympathies to them. All our love to you all. Jim and David Tait.

Dearest Anna , Will Charlie and Grace. Phil was an angel. Helping and assisting everyone. Phil was warm, cheerful, easy to joke with. Kind and caring. He has certainly left a big hole in this world and in everyone who knew him. But especially in his young beloved family and his perfect solemate Anna. I am devastated for your huge loss. Tears have been shed by all who knew him.
