I can remember the organisation of the ST.Thomas 'PTA where Phil was a key driving force. 40 on the committee surprisingly worked very well.
In latter years we both tried to master the vagaries of the lincoln golf course. Not a lot of success but good exercise and a good catchup.
Thanks also for sage legal advice
deepest sympathy to all the Baird family

Dear Aunty Aileen and cousins Nicola, Patrice and Tim. Sending our sincerest condolences on the passing of Uncle Philip. Just to let you know that you are in our thoughts and we will be watching the livestream from The Blue Mountains.
I still remember my first after school job in Uncle Philips office catching up on all of the filing. Not the most interesting job in the world but I was grateful for it anyway! I've attached a couple of photos that you may not have seen. I will remember fondly that welcoming smile and that twinkle in the eye. Love to you all x Mike and Tracy

Dear Aileen, Nicola, Patrice and Tim, I am so very sorry to hear that your beautiful husband and Dad has passed away. He was an absolute treasure. For 23 years after we worked together, he continued to write to me, send Christmas cards and calendars no matter here I was in the world. For many years while I lived in NZ, Philip filled the role of father in my life and we had many lovely lunches together and lively discussions and he gave me such great advice. When I moved overseas , he quickly adapted to email and made sure we kept in touch. He never gave up on me, always reached out with grace and love and I know he prayed for me regularly. I believe it was because of his prayers that I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. He was very proud of you all. Aileen he loved the precious years you had together after he gave up work. He often mentioned your garden, your beautiful walks together and told me that you were the backbone of his life - his everything and how amazing you were to have raised their family while he was mostly at work.
I just wanted to say I will miss him very much in this world.
But that I look forward to seeing him in heaven one day where we shall dine again and discuss our earthly lives with a heavenly perspective.
My love to you all. Haylee xx
