Peter WILLIAMS Obituary

We are heartbroken to share that Pete, our beloved son, dad, grandad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, aged 69, after a courageous battle with recent illness. Son of Val and Bill Williams (both deceased), Pete was a devoted husband to Ali (deceased), adored dad and father-in-law to Tyler and Karina, Taryn and Sam, Amber and Liam; loved grandad of Eleanor; cherished brother and brother-in-law of Lyn and John, Bev and Craig, Jennine and Grant; treasured brother-in-law of Philippa and Richard, and Andie. Loved and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, their families and close friends. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Avida Ilam Cressy Unit for their care and support. A celebration of Pete's life will be held on Monday, November 10, 10.30am, at Oaklands, Halswell (Lamb & Hayward), 500 Wigram Road, Christchurch.
