Ive only found out Today Ann because i mentioned Peter. Im so sorry for your loss, he was a good man. I really wish i could have been then offer my condolences at his service. RIP

Ann, I'm so sorry. And I'm so pleased that I got to see Peter one last time a few weeks ago.

He really was a wonderful guy. One thing in particular I admired about Peter was that he possessed a very rare blend of forcefulness and courtesy. Many times he engaged with us at the Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association (LVVTA), or the New Zealand Transport Agency, lobbying on behalf of the NZ Motor Caravan Association - and he always did such a great job of pushing his point hard and not giving in to bureaucracy, yet at the same time remaining professional and courteous throughout.

LVVTA and NZMCA will both be the poorer for the loss of Peter.

To Ann and family, our deepest sympathy, Peter has not been well and we couldn´t unfortunately make the service today. Many school memories and Easter´s at Hanmer and catching up over the years.

I am deeply saddened by Peter's passing. Whilst we had only known each other for less than four years (through the NZ Federation of Motoring Clubs), we communicated closely and frequently and it felt that we had been friends for many years, through the many common interests that we shared and the great chats. I will miss Peter more than these words can describe. And beyond these personal thoughts, the Federation itself recognises Peter's great contribution and wisdom over very many years.

Very sad to read of Peter´s passing Ann. Knew his family from school days. A lovely gentleman who will be sorely missed.

Dear Ann & family.
I'm shocked to hear off the passing of Peter.
I have fond memories of our motor trade days.
I remember fondly the time we met up at Hunters Winery, lunching with kids playing in the pool. I valued Peter as a mentor back then.
