Damn!! knew Pete way back in the late eighties, did a few tours of the South Island together and numerous bike rallies.
But it was fishing together that I remember most - chasing searunners at the Selwyn and trout in the high country.Haven't seen him for many years but always considered him a mate.
You enjoyed life and I hope you can fish where you are now!!! RIP

I have known Pete since 1996 when I met him at a bike rally and he is one of the good guys we have now lost.
He lived for the simple pleasures in life and chased his dreams each and every day.
What an awesome guy, you will be missed greatly my old friend, and friends like you are so hard to find.
No doubt I will see you again and I look forward to that moment.
Go and fish those eternal rivers, ride that highway in the sky, and live free the way you always did. Til we meet again, Greg Mules.
