To Jill, Michelle, Dean, and families. Was so sorry to learn of his passing, please accept my condolences at this sad time. I had known Peter all my working life, as an NAC apprentice starting in 1964, through to the mix of roles we both had over the years. For Peter it was not just work. His active participation in in so many things, we would have to say, it was a very full life, and very well lived. You can now rest in peace Peter.

A star has fallen, but Uncle Peter will glow in my memory for as long as I live. He has been a star in my mind since I first saw him in Choo Chin Chow in 1950. It was amazing, my first visit to a theatre, and we were up in the Gods (3 or 4 levels up). We mainly saw Peter when were young but visited him on most of our visits to Christchurch. I enjoyed my visits and the rides in the fancy cars.
He will be missed but will be remembered.

Peter and Jill were so much a part of my childhood and teenage years growing up in Christchurch. I will never forget my time spent on stage with Peter, particularly in Fiddler on The Roof. We also appreciated the warm presense of the Simmonds when our own parents passed. Much love to the family, Stephanie Liebert , Mt Albert Auckland
