Passed away after a short illness, on Sunday, December 5, 2021, aged 91 years. Dearly beloved husband of Honora (deceased). Much loved father, friend, mentor and our hero, to Catherine and James, Maree and Tony, Peter, Joanne and Jeff. Loving grandfather and great-grandfather, Poppa Pete. Messages for Peter's family may be posted to the Peterson Family, C/- PO Box 31300, Ilam, Christchurch 8444. The Funeral Service for Peter will be held at St Bernadettes Catholic Church, 76 Hei Hei Road, Hornby, on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 1.00pm. This service is a Vax Pass event.

We were so sorry to hear that Peter had died sending sympathy to you all. He always had great stories to tell about his army days when visiting our home in Lower Hutt. So pleased we went to see him when we were down in the South Island we are sorry we can't be at his funeral our thoughts are with the family x

My condolences to you all on the passing of Peter. I have very fond memories of Peter - he was kind, funny, very cheeky and i loved going to visit when we were younger - in fact i really looked forward to it. Love to you all at this very hard time.
