Peter MITCHELL Obituary

Peter passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home in Balcairn, with family by his side, aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of Alwyn, much loved father and father-in-law of Darren and Toni, and Gareth and Alanna, adored by his grandchildren and their partners - Shannon and wife Tash, Thomas, Brooke and fiancée McKenzey, Oliver and April, Hayley, Nicholas, and Great-Grandad of Sophie. Loved brother of Garry, and Geoffrey, and brother-in-law to Brenda, and Iona. Peter will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A special acknowledgment to Peter's doctor Martin, nurse Claire, nephew Quin, and his brother Garry. Without their help we could never have achieved Peter's wish of being at home during this time. Messages may be sent to the family via email: [email protected]. In keeping with Peter's wishes, a private cremation has been held. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at a later date.
