So sad here to hear of Pete´s passing. He was a great cousin to me while I was at RNZAF Wigram from 1979. A special memory was he picked me up once at Picton in Jeremiah his boat. Pocket was also on board! My son Johnathon (then 3 years old) was fascinated with that small dog! Had great fun with water skiing and holidaying at Kumamoto. We shall miss you Pete and your gentleness. RIP and love to Jan, Andrew, Aunty Sue and Aunty Jan. Richard, Melbourne

Kristine and I first met Pete and Jan in 2007 when we joined the Christchurch Rock n Roll group. Pete and Jan became our first Rock n Roll coaches and we spent many hours together at training and once a week having a meal together after training. We had some great conversations and Pete was very interesting to talk to. A few years later we enjoyed a holiday together with Pete and Jan in Rarotonga, one of Pete's favourite places. We will miss Pete's company and our heart felt condolences go to Jan, Andrew and family.
Rest in peace Pete.
Kind regards, Brian & Kristine Drury.
