Peter LAWSON Obituary
Peter Edwin (Pete):
Died December 29, 2018 at Kaikoura Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 87 years. Dearest husband and best friend of Lorna, for 65 years. Loved and treasured father and father-in-law of Shirley and Peter Ellingsen (Melbourne), Anne and Pat Moll (Upper Hutt), Doug and Thora (Kaikoura), Chris and Deb (Kaikoura), and Phil and Sue (Christchurch). Loved grandfather and great-grandfather of all his extended family. Grateful thanks to the Kaikoura Volunteer Fire Service, St John, Dr Chris Henry, Helen Percy, and the nursing staff at Kaikoura Hospital.
Don't be sad I have gone,
be happy I have been here.
Message of sympathy may be sent c/- Lawson Family, PO Box 134, Kaikoura. A farewell for Pete will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Kaikoura, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Kaikoura Public Cemetery.
