HOCKLEY,
Peter Richard (Pete):
On March 17, 2023, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 68 years. Loving and dearly loved father of Jess, and grandfather of Jax, much loved son of the late Margaret and Dick Hockley, loved brother and brother-in-law of Jude and Iain and the late Pauline and Richard, and uncle of Holly, Meredith and Louisa. A loved and respected nephew, cousin, colleague and good mate to all his friends. Our grateful thanks to staff at Christchurch Hospital and all those who have supported Pete through his illness, particularly his good mate Shaun. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Pete Hockley, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society in memory of Pete would be appreciated and may be made online at www.cancer.org.nz/. The Service to celebrate Pete's life will be held in the Lamb and Hayward Avon Park Chapel, cnr Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, on Friday, March 24, at 2.30pm, private cremation thereafter. Very saddened to hear the news of Pete's passing. I remember him fondly from working with him in the Stanmore and Linwood MSD offices. He was a lovely man. Condolences to his family.

Was a very good mate in my younger days, we tended to get up to a bit of trouble. Fortunate enough to have a beer with him late last year. Remember with great fondness.
