Peter Rudolf: (J.P)
It is with great sadness to announce that Peter passed away suddenly at home, on December 28, 2021, aged 80 years. Dearly loved darling husband of Beverley for 50 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Christopher and Bridey, Martyn and Sam. Adored grandad of Benjamin, Joshua, and Matthew.
Peter was the most generous and selfless man you could ever meet, we are left with memories of him being cheerful, fit and active.
Special thanks to Dr Mark Cohen, for the exceptional care he gave to Peter, and to St John Ambulance and NZ Police for the care and support given to Peter and his family. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Peter Hentschel, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Peter will be held at St Paul's Lutheran Church, 130 Burwood Road, on Friday, January 14, at 1.30pm, private cremation to follow. Vaccine pass is required for the service.

Dear Beverley and family, I am very saddened to hear of Peter's passing. I had the privilege of working with him both at a scene and in the laboratory, when I was a young and inexperienced scientist. I remember him for his kindness and helpfulness.

Bev I am shocked and saddened at Peters passing. I have many happy memories of our times together and so grateful we got to see each other again recently.
