On September 26, 2021, surrounded by his loving family, 'the rock of our lives has travelled on'. Cherished and much loved soulmate of Rosemary, precious father and father-in-law of David and Diane, Rachel and Nigel, Jenni and Hugh, and Hugh, loved grandad Pete of Kade, and Hannah, treasured 'Ironside' of Ben, Samantha, and Christopher; George, and Pippa; James, and Charley, proud great-grandfather of Arthur, Lincoln, and Harrison.
