Peter DAVIDSON Obituary

On August 12, 2025, unexpectedly at Christchurch Hospital, aged 75 years. Beloved husband of Sharon, much loved father and father-in-law of Andrea and James, Bridget, Suzie, Kate and Sam, adored Poppa of Alexandra, and George; Baxter; Charlie, and Sylvia. Special friend of Chantelle and Jason, Andrea and Luke, Michael and Sruthi; Mikayla, Scarlett, Hugo, and Walter. Peter will be remembered for his warmth, humour, generosity, and deep love for his family and friends. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Peter Davidson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Zealand Brain Research Institute would be appreciated and may be made online at: nzbri.org. The service to celebrate Peter's life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Monday, August 18, at 2.00pm.

Peter was a positive and energetic community member - My recall is of his time as Chair of the College Board to which he made a great contribution eliciting support and being positive in every aspect of the college management revealing his talent of innovation through his enthusiasm.
