Peter BENNETT Obituary
Passed away in Christchurch Hospital CCU, on Monday, May 15, 2023; aged 71 years (formerly of Waipopo Orchard, Seadown, Timaru NZ). Much loved husband of Suzanne for 44 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Kathryn, Paul and Hailey, and Michael. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Bill and Sue, Danny and Ros, Neil and Sue Rawlins, and the late Lynley. Cherished grandfather of Emily, Grace, Isobel, James, Lucy, Henry, Lyndon, Charlotte, and Lily. Special nephew of Janet and the late Bob Arnfield (Melbourne). Much loved uncle of his nephews and nieces Tim and Kirsty, Hamish and Michelle, David and Sarah and great-uncle to their families.

A service to celebrate Peter's life will be held at St Peter's Church, 186 King Street, Temuka, on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Temuka Cemetery. What a huge shock. I have known the Bennet family for over 60 years. They were very loyal customers of Brownwood Motors Timaru which continued for over 20 years when I worked for the Company. A lovely family which will remain in my memory for ever. RIP Peter. My love to the family during this sad time..
