Penny GIBSON Obituary
(nee Penelope Ray Burns):
Penny passed away on April 4, 2022, following a 3 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Widow of the late Ivan, daughter of the late Ralph and Joan Burns. Sister and sister-in-law of Erica and the late Edwin Newport (Nelson), Edgar and Yvonne (Napier), Stuart and Sue (Cambridge), Deb and Ross Prestidge (Auckland), Fraser and Margaret (Hastings) and Fiona. Mother of Murray, mother-in-law to Cathie. Grandmother of Harry and Joan. Messages for the Gibson Family may be sent to 19 London Street, Richmond, Christchurch, 8013. Memorial Service for Penny will be held at the Opawa Community Church, cnr Opawa and Aynsley Terrace, Opawa, Christchurch, on Saturday, April 9 at 2.30pm, following a private burial.
