Penelope McCAMBRIDGE Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, aged 82 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Kathryn, Dianne and Sonny, Patricia, and Chris. Much loved Nan of Joanna and Seamus, John and Jason. Will be sadly missed by the extended family and Many friends. Many thanks to the staff on Ward 17 Christchurch Hospital, and the Access Palliative Care Team for all their care and support of Penny and the family. Messages to the family of Penny McCambridge c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. In accordance with Penny's wishes a private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to Cancer Research NZ would be appreciated and may be made online only via their website. A celebration of Penny's life will be held at Blue Smoke, The Tannery, 3 Garlands Road, Woolston, Christchurch, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 2.00pm.

So sad to read of Penny's passing. A long time school friend. We'd meet up for lunches in Ashburton and catch up on the intervening years. She was always happy and upbeat, full of fun. My condolences to her family.
