Loved partner of Ashley, loved mum and mother-in-law of Amber and Darren Cameron, and Thomas Hodder. GrannyP to Sophie. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Lynley and Brian Thompson, Carol and Gary Jamieson, Marlene and Gary Carter, and Selwyn and Marie Hodder, auntie and great-aunt to many. Paula's funeral and farewell will be on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at 2.30pm, in the Harewood Crematorium Chapel, corner Wilkinsons and Johns Roads, followed by her cremation, per her request. Bright dress and please bring memories to share of Paula. Please only slightly-scented home flowers or donations to MHAPS, via mhaps.org.nz would be appreciated. On Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 2.30pm at Broad Bay Community Hall, Otago Peninsula, there will a celebration of Paula's life followed by interment of her ashes at Yellow Head (Broad Bay Cemetery). Please bring a plate and refreshments for afterwards.

I have such lovely memories of Paula. I'm sorry we ran out of time to have that coffee together and so grateful we were able to connect before you passed on. Paula helped to train me during my Bachelor of Midwifery. Her enthusiasm, kindness, wisdom and absolute encouragement and belief in all of our shared clients was infectious and I will carry that with me always. My heartfelt condolences to Ashley, Amber and Tom.

Ashley, Amber and Tom. Such a shock to see this notice in the paper. Paula and I did our middy training together then joined up and worked in a midwifery partnership together. We had a lot of laughs as we encouraged and supported each other while dealing with a challenging caseloading. Although we had lost touch over the last few years, Paula always left flamboyant and happy memories. My sympathy to you all. May Paula rest peacefully now. XX
