Suddenly at St Omer. Loved son of Shelia and David, and brother of Gloria (dec), brother and brother-in-law of Dianne and Dennis, uncle of Aaron and Eleanor, Rachel and Chong, and Nicola and Colin, and great-uncle of Xavier, Lachlan and Magnus; Amber and Amara; Isabella and Mila. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul, at St Omar Bay in the Marlborough Sounds. Paul was a loving father to Brooke and Guy, father-in-law to Rachel and Papa to Gus. In the early years his sense of adventure filled his family with fun. Paul especially loved snow skiing, boating and fishing. He created a beautiful retreat in the Marlborough Sounds, where he spent a lot of his later years. Paul was an avid rugby fan and a talented artist and creator. His love, warmth, cheeky sense of humour, generosity and endless curiosity about the world will be deeply missed. We love you, Dad and we will treasure and hold in our hearts the memories we have of our adventures and fun times. Rest in Peace, Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NZ Heart Foundation will be graciously accepted.
