Dear Mary & family. I just found out today about Paul's passing. I have been living overseas for more than 20 years so haven't seen Paul for a long time. The memories go back close on 40 years. What a broad & varied friendship we had together, Ruben Homes, Pathfinder Films, home movies, video stores. Paul was a very generous & gregarious man whose company I greatly appreciated. Paul, you touched a lot of peoples lives. Rest in Peace.

To Paul's Family please accept my sympathies at this time. I have only known Paul for the past 4 years having met him through playing petanque. We won a few tournaments and I always enjoyed playing with him. He was a great competitor and always gave his best. He will be missed at Ascot and Christchurch Clubs

Dear Mary and family. So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was one very interesting and charismatic man.
Fond memories of him at Eyrie Bay. The famous gumbo (not enough) and the easter treasure hunt. Paul's best intentions undermined by some greedy possums overnight. When the kids went on the morning hunt there was only shinny wrapping paper left. And a super supporter and provider at the Steiner school fair jumble sales.
Deepest sympathy to you all at this sad time. From the late Winton Cassels family, Sandy, Ali, Emily and Lucy

Dear Paul,
I'm sure your spirit will now fill the heavens with the zest, energy and positivity you gave us all here on earth. Lucky heaven! Forever imagining a better way and encouraging us to look at things anew, you passed this to your children through your choice for their schooling, the outdoors adventures and future life choices. Kia kaha e Paul. Arohanui ki a koe.

I hadn't caught up with Paul for a couple of years; very sorry to hear of his passing. Paul gave life a nudge in his own unique style and I always enjoyed our ruminations.
